Through oil painting and detailed graphite and charcoal drawings, I seek to honor the past while embracing the energy of the present.
I am drawn to realism, using rich textures, dramatic lighting, and earthy tones to bring historical and modern figures to life. My mountain men paintings convey the resilience and solitude of those who lived by their wits in the untamed wilderness. My Renaissance inspired works pay homage to the classical mastery of form, composition, and storytelling.
